An Open Letter to Our Members |
|
| Dear NAFI Members: | |
| I wish to offer my deepest sympathy to the friends, loved ones and families of those who were lost or injured in the tragic events of September 11, 2001. The NAFI Membership Services Staff and I are especially saddened by the loss of so many of our brothers and sisters from the New York City Fire and Police Departments. The loss, in the name of hatred, of even one of those brave souls is too many. | |
| I want to thank those members who have called our offices with offers of help. NAFI is blessed to have members with such fine hearts. I ask that all NAFI members support the rescue efforts by making a donation, if you are able, to the American Red Cross and please continue to donate blood. | |
| It is important that we, as members of NAFI and as Americans, show the world that we have zero tolerance for terrorism. We will use our knowledge of fire investigation to make the world a safer place. No one who uses fire as an instrument of terror will succeed on our watch. Together we can make a safer world. | |
| If you have information regarding this or other acts act of terrorism, please contact the FBI by clicking the link at the bottom of the page. | |
| If you are one of our members working on the rescue efforts in New York or Washington, D.C. and we may offer any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will do everything in our power to see that you get what you need. | |
