\nCommunication is the heart of every profession. Everything you do results from\u00a0communication. Good reading, writing, speaking and listening skills are essential if tasks\u00a0are going to be completed and goals achieved. As you develop your career, you will find\u00a0various reasons why successful communication skills are important to you. You have to\u00a0give clear attention to what you say to others. You need to ensure that what you say is\u00a0clear, accurate, honest and appropriate. It is appropriate to consider the ages of those\u00a0receiving the information as well their level of understanding of the subject matter being\u00a0communicated. Your tone of voice is also important as one could wrongly believe you are\u00a0irritated in having to explain the topic that you believe should be understood. If the\u00a0communication is important to you, your tone should communicate you feel their\u00a0understanding is just as important.<\/p>\n
Communications may be one of the most important skills for an investigator to learn, yet\u00a0it is one of the least taught in presentations and training. An investigator is asked to\u00a0express the findings of the investigation to others through written or verbal\u00a0communications. If the investigator cannot successfully accomplish this task, the\u00a0investigation will not be successful. This article will mainly address the verbal\u00a0communication issue.<\/p>\n
